![]() In Goa, Daman and Diu, casinos are regulated under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976 (“ Goa Act”). The states of Sikkim and Meghalaya in the north-east of India, the state of Goa and the union territory of Daman and Diu in the west regulate casino games in land-based form. ![]() The authority under the Sikkim Act is the Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Department, whereas under the Meghalaya Act the state government is the licensing authority, with the Commissioner of Taxes handling the licensing process.
